I saw a TV program the other night that said Hawaii is the safest state in the union to live as far as natural disasters, even with their potential for eruptions/tsunamis. Go figure...

My apologies for scaring folks in SD, I was online and about to comment on something else when I noticed the news.

No real damage around my home, but our friends to the west and south got hit fairly hard and I've not been able to contact.

Mahalo for the well wishes. This has done it for us, we can't leave fast enough!!!
If I have to live there again I'm building a below ground bunker with electricity.

Well unfortunately, I must wait till school ends. We'll pick our Grandson up from school on 01 June and just keep on driving.

It appears there were some injuries but apparently no fatalities!! Million of dollars worth of damages.

I'm glad you are safe MovingAloha.

My wife was at DFW today and fortunately her plane left about 30 minutes before the tornados came. I heard after that many flights were delayed or cancelled.

I'm glad no one died or got seriously injured with today's tornados. Dallas has been really fortunate with Tornados but I do think eventually there will be a huge tornado there with many deaths.

You can see the force of the winds in this video throwing trailers around like they are nothing.
