We (family of 5) will be celebrating our first Mother's day since moving to SD.
Any suggestions on a nice place to go for brunch?

Notihng really fancy. Preferably not a chain, quaint or unusual, neighborhood favorite type of place.

Don't mind anywhere from OB to Encinitas.

Thanks.

We had a really great brunch at Searsucker - Searsucker is A Favorite Among Restaurants in San Diego

The chef is Brian Malarky from Top Chef fame. The food was pretty good although it is a bit expensive. But it's a gorgeous restaurant and it has been full every single time I've gone.

PS If you go for dinner you MUST try the Bacon drizzled ice cream. I know it sounds strange but I swear one of the best desserts I've ever had!
