Exactly my point...It was almost like it was too easy....Arriving in San Diego, meeting with Temp agency, and then "boom"!! Job....... Not hating or anything...OP saw an opportunity and capitalized on it.. Wondering why it can't be that easy for us fellow potential relocators..thats all.

She said that she's an "accounting assistant," not an accountant. The job through a temp service, and I doubt if it's permanent. That means even through she has a job, it could end at any time.

It is a temp to hire job. I am permanant in 3-4 months if they like me...which they will. ;-) I have been hired for every interview I have ever had, never been fired or laid off and always been promoted to as high as possible. I currently hold 3 jobs in Seattle. I'm not too worried about it. It is about the same as I make here. I own a 3 bedroom house with yard here, which I am walking away from. A one bedroom apartment is comparable to the cost I am paying for my home now. So, yes, I have "ran the numbers". Yes, I am female...you are allowed to look at my profile.
I guess some people just "got it"...DRIVE. ;-)
P.S. I have also never received child support, help from a parent or man, or goverment assistance and I have been on my own since 16 and a mother since 18.
Thank you to all my supporters.

And yes a job could always end at any time, regardless if it is a temp job or not. I'm not new to the working world. I have been working since I was 12 and never unemployed since 17.
This is America people!!! There are jobs out there! Speaking of...anyone want a job North of Seattle...having a difficult time finding support in my department when I leave. Also need to hire a bartender to replace my weekend/evening job!
Good luck everyone!!! KEEP POSITIVE.
Here I go in my new chapter.
