I might be to blame for the less an perfect weather, because you guessed it, we had a visitor in town! ( this time college step dau). This weeks SD blah weather resulted in great father daughter shopping on Newport Av on OB...thankfully no new tatoos. (I was a working stiff stuck at the office), firing up the fire pit and heat lamp for family fun, the zoo ( along with the rest of the city who had the same idea) and then 4 months worth of errands....when you live on the beach you really don't want to leave it except to show your face at work...but with the rain, we sucked it up today for a needed home depot, trader joes, and Ikea run ( again, with the rest of the city who had the same idea!). Glad to be home, bathed in our new lighting, listening to the stormy ocean, drinking 7.99 wine.

I agree. I tend to start hibernating when it starts getting chilly.

Lol a coat? I changed my balljoints today on my explorer (of course the weather picks today to rain) than in my tshirt and shorts went for a nice long test drive with my windows down enjoying the beautiful weather. Don't get my wrong maybe the coast was cold but I was enjoying perfect 60s between Ramona, Lakeside, and El Cajon. once it hits about 70 I start getting hot. I think something might be wrong with my body I didn't used to be like that.

It rained off an on pretty much 24 hours straight. I was splitting wood but when the outlet got wet it started buzzing so I shut it down. It's an outdoor outlet too.

It seemed like that misty precipitation that occurred between the real rain was able the pentrate just about anything. Thankfully I did my balljoints job in my uncles garage up in Ramona.

Ya, that would have sucked down here in a driveway. All my rigs are big so I borrow a buddies shop to work on anything. We have plastic tubs (about 50 gallon) and they are all filled so the plants will be happy. Just roof runoff.

Yeah well, and a Santa Ana with high fire danger, starting today. What I don't get is, doesn't all that rain we just had provide some kind of relief? I guess when humidity drops to below 10 all the moisture is just sucked out of the vegetation. Stay safe, if you're in fire-prone areas.

Too much older dead vegetation. I'm going to be up there all week hunting and we'll be looking over our shoulder for smoke the whole time. We do have motorcycles to escape on if the road gets blocked.
