There was a fatal stabbing early Sun. morning at a party in Bay Terraces. 2nd one within a 48 hour period.

He's a cop.

All of those are in the SDUT, you need to go to their metro page on the web site, and click on their 'Metro Blog'. They have all the crime stuff in there.

I go through there alot and I didn't see the other shootings mentioned. Usually they'll have a bunch of ('news worthy') crime stuff on one page.

You have to dig for it sometimes, but it's there. UT web site often combines multiple stories in a single page with a single headline. Sometimes they report it in the South Bay section and not the metro section. Sometimes it's in the blog and not the metro section. The best way to find the stories is to set up a google news alert, Google does a better job of finding the stories than the UT.

I think it's pretty close to 50, I'm not really sure.

There are other articles at the UT site, 2 more people were shot in Lincoln Park and a woman was carjacked in Otay Mesa.

EDIT: There was also an officer involved shooting in Gaslamp.
