Hi,

I'm not really familiar with the transit system in SD and need to see a tutor who lives on Collwood Blvd. I'm torn between the #1, 15 and 955. I looked at the online maps and called, but neither helped very much. I think the 955 would be the bus that travels along Montezuma, but will it stop near or at Collwood Blvd? The original plan was to take either the 15 or 1 that's on El Cajon & Park Blvd to SDSU and then the 955.

I'd like to know before I get lost. Thanks in advance!

Yes. There is a stop at Montezuma and Collwood as well as El Cajon and 54th which is also Collwood. Not sure if a bus runs up and down Collwood itself though.

Well, not exactly up and down Collwood but maybe a stop on Montezuma and Collwood. I'm pretty sure I can make the walk. Do you think my plan is good enough though?

Sounds good to me, but I haven't ridden the city bus in a long time.

I'm not sure how old you are, but if you took the 15 and got off at 54th and ECB you could skate board down the hill to where you needed to be on Collwood. It would definitely save you some walking time. Yes, you'd have to carry your skateboard back with you, unless you continued down the hill to Montezuma and the 955, but I think you would find it worthwhile as a time saver.

Also, if you were wondering Collwood Boulevard is just fine as a street to walk on. There are sidewalks, and the area is safe.
