it rained today and there was so much hype. people were going crazy. gotta love it!! as a new transplant, I was having way too much fun with it. but to be honest though, it was REALLY cold today. is it normally like this during the winter months? low 60s during the day and high 50s at night? I miss the 75 and funny weather!! the past weekend though, it was like 85F that was too hot for me. im becoming very spoiled weather wise as you can tell.

Wow. You've become a Weather Wuss in no time flat.

Welcome to winter in southern California. Yep, highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s or 40s are typical winter temperatures. However, it's the wet that makes it feel really cold.

it gets a lot colder in coastal CA than most people realize...in the early summer too. Took me by surprise as well.

thunderstorms though, that's a different story. on the rare occasions those happen people think it was an earthquake!

I can't believe that I used to walk in 10ft snow without even giving a second thought and now get pissed when there is a slight breeze on the beach. Funny how Cali changes people.
