Yes! We are going to have two storms. The one coming on Friday is supposed to be strong and last through the weekend.

This article is more of a state-wide update. We import 46% of our water so we are impacted by what happens in Northern California. The snowpack today measure at 24% of normal:

Drought Monitor Map updated today. Looks like the entire state is in Extreme or Exceptional Drought with very few exceptions. It will be interesting to see if there is any real improvement in the map over the next week with the current storms.

Not sure where you got that? Under "Looking Ahead" they said the Coast of California could get 3 to 6 inches along the coast. We have had 3 inches of rain in the past 12 calendar months so 3 to 6 inches is pretty exciting to get in 3 days considering we have had that much in 12-months.

I don't see any predictions for 7 or 8 inches. The rain right now seems slow but steady.
