One more day of it would be nice for those of us who love to swim and can't do so until Saturday.

The ski resorts are closed after this weekend until next winter. Good timing.

Has anyone besides this weirdo stalking water temps from 500 miles away noticed that the ocean is really warm for this time of year?

67-69

CDIP recent observed

SD Bay already at 70

Coastal Water Temperature Guide

Those temps are actually swimmable to me if the air is warm enough, 67 is kind of my limit. I don't think I've ever seen water temps like that in SD before May.

A hot 94 degrees at 330 PM but downstairs I managed to trap in last nights cool air and close all the blinds and windows at the right time. It's a nice 75 indoors without touching the AC today. My downstairs is dark but cool.

The upstairs on the other hand is pretty warm even with the breeze.
