I was in Pasadena this weekend and forgot how hot it gets out there during the day. Since returning home, however, it has been perfection.

We had a few pretty good downpours today. The last, around 3:00, with pea size hail! Then came a great double rainbow!

There was snow up on Palomar Mountain today, but not as much as in that pic.

El Nino is called that because if it arrives it typically arrives around Christmas time. I think the term was started in Chile.

Yes, this was Black Friday, or rather White Friday at Mt Laguna. It was coming down quite a bit at 1PM on Friday, the family and I had fun and luckily no chains required.

Arggggghhh......the storm expected later this week for California isn't going to make down to us. At least the Sierras are going to get snow.
