Anyone else have frost on their windshields or yard this morning?

It happens only a few days a year where I live and today was one of those.

34 degrees here in Fallbrook early this AM. Our back property looked like it snowed....all covered on frost.

...thanks for posting....one of the main reasons why I try and point out that December - mid March can get downright chilly in San Diego...even yesterday, the temperature on my iphone read 64 but I have been in Chicago and NY where 47 degree days have felt warmer to me...true, we can very easily get a Santa Ana condition next week in which temperatures will exceed 70-75, but these next 4 months definitely have their share of cold spells....I definitely was not walking around town yesterday in shorts and flip flops but, then again, I don't wear ski caps in August and September either--as some others do.

Went to Big Bear this last weekend and the powered was great. Sadly on my last run down the mountain my son cut me off and fell. Except of tennis elbow and a sore shoulder I'm alright

36 degrees in inland Encinitas at 7 am today. Frost on the plants on the side of the road too. My dashboard external temperature indicator had a little snowflake next to it. Not something you see very often around these parts.

You can't ask for better weather. We are truly blessed.

In NYC I was paying $3K ^ per month and I didn't have a thermostat to control myself. Here I can set the temp at a toasty 74 degrees and sleep like a baby knowing nothing will change.

I love it.

During the winter I get to wear one of my 100's of baseball caps instead of a winter beanie and scarf.

But it should be chilly from Dec to March. I sure as heck am glad we get temperature variations, unlike So. Florida or Hawaii. You can can never have a fire in the fireplace there.

Neighbor said there was frost on his lawn this morning. Low on my gauge this morning read 40 degrees and is reading 49 right now and it's still early!

I'm sure people in Florida care less about a fireplace and more about being able to go in a warm, clear, turquoise ocean without a wetsuit throughout the year. If not the natives, ask the throes of transplants who moved there or snowbirds--they moved away from the variations.
