PB is not quiet, especially in the summer months. Not even Crown Point.

I am but they have no parking spot or laundry. I have increased my budget to $1300. I am hoping that might open up a few more options.

Is this true for entire PB? I understand if you are on mission or garnet where all the bars are. But the place I saw today was on hornblend and it appeared to be a very quiet residential neighborhood. Is PBs noise reputation a bit exaggerated? Like if you drive 8 minutes away from mission and garnet, it seems fairly quiet. Then I could buy a bike and go to the beach.

I've lived all over PB and if it's an apt you'll have at least one loud as @$#% person in the complex. Or you will find a quiet one and with high turnover you'll get a loud one eventually. It's not bad in the winter months but in the summer it's pretty crazy. You'd probably do better over in Bay Park or Clairemont as they are still close to the beach. Mission Valley would work.

Anyway, I've never had a "quiet" complex in the 20 years I lived in PB.

My daughter's friend lives in the north area of PB off Mission Blvd. She is in a small building with only 8 apartments. It is in a neighborhood with mostly single family homes. She says it is not too noisy in her area, but she doesn't have assigned parking.
