Is 30 too old?

I know SD County is older but the city of SD itself. Would a 30 year old feel too old?

Asking for someone else.

Do they feel "too old" anywhere else? Because that has nothing to do with where they live.

Also, what a bizarre question.

I hope 30 isn't too old.

I'm going to answer your question a little differently.

I think SD is tough place for younger folks out of college to mid 30s starting families. Especially if you are away from extended family.

College aged normally have security of family here and may not incur housing costs but have all the other benefits of SD (minus housing and fees here) and they don't have to worry about lower wages. I think it is an ideal situation. Imagine being younger full of life and energy and snowed in 7 months a year

The 30 crowd has to worry about finding good employment advancing along while making less than ideal salaries for the most part and dealing with smaller costly dwellings while trying to build families.

Now I see and interact with lots of folks here who think they are 20s-30s- so from that perspective you are never out of place

What do you mean THINK they are 20s-30s?

I see many older guys and women who look like they fit in perfectly. I'm 30 i fit in no problem, moved to SD in 2015 and love it. 30 isn't old unless you're in the military or you play for the padres. Once my service time was up i moved to SD

I probably wouldn't live in PB or Gaslamp at 30...but then again I prefer North County for the most part anyways

The single / Party scene spans all ages in SD. I would say outside of the college-kid dominated areas (PB, North Park, etc) the party scene in SD is mostly 30-50's.

Is 30 too old? Bwaaaahaaaaahaaaa! I'm 44 now (yes I look younger and still like to have a drink out on the town every now and then), and I still don't fee too out of place at most places. Of course the main bar I go to when I go to PB (once a year if that) is the Michigan State Spartan bar (The PB Cantina), and there are people in there on big game days that have one foot in the casket, having the time of their lives. Don't get hung up on age.

College kids 18-22 dominate north park?

What are the other college areas?
