I've shamelessly copied this thread idea from the San Antonio forum.

Last place we ate out was Habit Burger in Carmel Mountain Ranch. I had their grilled chicken salad. It was very good, but basically the same as the Costco grilled chicken salad which is just as good and costs less. It, like the Costco one, was enough for two meals for me. Next time at Habit Burger, I'll go back to my usual charburger.

Your turn now ... where did you eat out, and how was it?

I liked Habit back when it was called Hamburger Habit and only had restaurants in Santa Barbara and Ventura. Honestly, they're only an ok burger now as industry standards have improved so much in the last 20 years and like many chains Habit's quality has slipped some what as they grew so quickly. If you want a much better burger which is doesn't just serve yet another CAFO beef burger than try the grass fed, organic, free range beef at Burger Lounge or the MiHo Gastro Truck as both are superior in every way. Both of them will serve it medium rare where as most places which sell CAFO beef won't because they know their beef is swimming in bacteria. Hell, even Fudruckers will cook a burger how you want it but places like Five Guys and Habit won't.

Last night I ate at McD's, which sucked, and this morning I made scrambled eggs on sourdough toast at home for breakfast.

Oggi's Pizza and Brewery in Mission Valley Friday night after work. Great beer selection and good tasting pizza.

The Chiki fil A in Mira Mesa to go on Saturday.

Proud I didn't eat out Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. :-)
