I actually live up in Emerald Heights and I've been here for 12 years...VERY safe neighborhood and nice people. The only problem I have is the people who run it (Escondido Highlands Association) with some of their rules. Also, the homes are kinda small and most (if not all) are cramped together so you're living in close quarters.

Other than that, great place to live.

I attended all three of those schools including San Marcos High before Mission Hills opened. All very good.

It is one of the best neighborhoods in North County. Family friendly. Great schools. Exceptional facilities. I have been selling houses there since the 90's and it is very popular. Ginger Proffitt
