So I went to the downtown Ralphs at 9 am and they had a store worker passing out numbered tickets. They were allowing 25 people in at a time and then every 10 minutes after that. The wait wasn't long and it was nice to get around the store without bumping into folks. They had water but nada on the tp and paper towels. Kleenex was still available.

Anyone else experiencing this at their local stores?

having designated time slots for the elderly seniors etc seem to be getting implemented nationally which would be great

Limits on items BY ALL STORES would be nice.

One pack of TP, One pack of bread, One pack of Water, etc.

I've been to 10 stores since last Friday - no TP in any of them.

Grocery Outlet downtown is limiting it to 50 people at a time.

You can find everything that you're looking for if you don't go to the chain stores. The non chain Asian and Hispanic markets have everything in stock.

I am good with this. Then we can PROVE our age instead of people assuming we are in our 20s -40s. I am not trying to be flip here. I get told all the time that I do not look anywhere near old enough to be a boomer. I'm beginning to think they see the tired eyes and thinning hair and assume that I am just a younger person whose had a hard life and/or drug addicted when I'm just an old person whose had a life filled with misfortune but not drug-addicted.

I was their yesterday and didn't notice a sign but less crowded for sure. Lots of fresh vegetables available unlike Ralphs. Thanks for the mention of Asian and Hispanic places for items I might need.

Just got back from Costco in Mission Valley. Line around the back of the store to get in, few people in the actual store. They are implementing social distancing per the county. Whole ordeal took 2 hours, which is not really that bad considering the circumstances. Plenty of stock including paper towels and toilet paper.

Within a two block radius of me are two Vietnamese Markets, a Middle Eastern Market, and a Himalayan Market. Pancho Villa is right down the street, and the Grocery Outlet is just up the street. The larger Vietnamese Market (Sin Lee) has everything in stock, and is continually restocking throughout the day.
