I drive by way more Biden/Harris signs in the yards, on my way home than i do Trump signs. But the Trump Signs are way more bigger. Whats Funny is, I know more Trump supporters personally than Biden/Harris supporters. Talking to a couple of them over the weekend, Their are a lot of Trump supporters that are silent. Most or rather embarrassed by Braggadocios behavior of their Fellow Trump Supporters so they stay silent. All my Trump supporting buddies are all are,"ole Skool" Republicans that are not use to these new Trump Republicans. That's why i have been preaching to my Liberal friends, don't believe the polls, get out there and vote. There are people you work with hang with, that nod their heads when you're bashing Trump but will still vote for him.

We might be looking at 4 more years of Trump Boat Parade's

It seems like the stealth Trump voters skewed the polls last time and might do it again. I have one coworker that always works Trump into any conversation followed by a few F bombs.

We had friends that went to boat thing and said they had a great time.

I’m more interested in seeing what happens to the senate.

According the polls it may flip. We will see in the next couple of days.

People shouldn't let politics define them.
Considering all of the groups he and his supporters have demonized (that impacts me personally), I'm not sure why I should feel the need to interact.

Sadly this is true.
You cant have a civil Political conversation with a Trumpster without, Socialism, Communism, the Left are bunch of lairs an cheats, QAnon and the deep state Coming Up, its very cult like

When you point out the Hypocrisy of there beliefs, they resort to name calling or deferring back to the original 3 points
When i first moved in about 16 years ago, The neighbor i mentioned above and his ex wife were the first people to Welcome us to the neighborhood. When his wife left and divorced him 3-4 years ago, He started attending this Church and was always inviting everyone in the neighborhood to come. I try not to talk Politics with him but more and more lately, over the last year, he can't help himself and brings it up. As soon as he starts talking Politics i always say "Well Look At the time"

It is very interesting to see the "devolution" of these individuals into such hateful people. The levels of delusion are just unreal.

At this point, the hard-core supporters are just irredeemable. No values, no integrity, and no respect. Purely driven by hatred and making others' lives miserable with no concern because it doesn't impact them. They are entertained by cruelty and bullying. It's sick and evil.

The GOP's handling of this tyrant will forever turn me (and many younger generations) away.

This isn't party or candidate exclusive though. There are zealots and dogmatists across the spectrum, and then there are people who just vote the best of a handful (at most) of really bad choices. Politics is super toxic these days. That's why I said earlier that no one should let themselves be defined by something so abstract. And on the other end of it, nobody should judge someone based on silly constructs like political parties either.

I actually *like* to hear differing opinions and those who challenge my beliefs, especially with respect to things I'm sure of. Shutting down voices which aren't just echoes of our own is a bad thing in my mind. There's definitely people I don't want anything to do with, but I know for a fact I can't identify them simply by knowing who they voted for in the presidential election. I need a smidge more than that to go on. JMO, of course.

Because shutting down will only widen the divide. When we all stop interacting with one another, we dig ourselves in even further.

When Trump supporters on one side of my family were totally fine with Trump pushing to deport foreign students--knowing that included members on the other side of my family--I made the determination that the hardcore Trumpies are pretty much irredeemable. They are narcissistic neo-fascists. They have no empathy and they inflict pain on others with pleasure or, at best, apathy.

Disgusting and repulsive to the core. I'm not going to normalize or tolerate their behavior. They aren't worthy of sympathy or understanding.

Now I'm totally fine discussing political positions with reasonable people who voted for Trump. The Democratic party is both corrupt and tone-deaf, so I'm not going to claim superiority of values necessarily. But anyone who joined the Trump cult....they are so beyond saving.

I was going to just ignore all these comments, and I probably should, but WOW.

You guys sure are painting with a broad brush here.

All these extreme comments you guys are saying could just as easily be said about those on the left, especially the BLM/Antifa crowd.

There are idiot extremists on both sides. The mere fact of voting for Trump does not make a person an extremist.

I respect the opinions/thoughts/beliefs of those who's beliefs are opposite of my own, whether they be strangers, neighbors or even family members.

Too bad you guys can't do the same.
