Pretty sure there's about 50 high schools, close to that stadium that could put those seats to good use...

Such a waste...

Yes, the Sky Show will continue, but I don't know if they're going to have it when they play in Carson, though.

I heard that they were going to try to sell them, but maybe no one was interested.

Only reason to go to an SDSU football game, IMHO.

I only went to them because I was getting paid, the same for the Chargers, too.

I never was a fan of the NFL as a kid and I grew up in Dallas Cowboys country....but the Chargers grew on me after working the stadium a few seasons. I never did warm up the Aztecs Football.

Default Sad to see it go...

Yes...I watched Randy Johnson pitch in the old ball park many decades ago. Dave Winfield and many others lost games when the Padres longed to be winners.

Years later I stood across the highway in Irving, Texas and watched as Texas Stadium was demolished.

Sad to see the icons of days gone by go away.

See my previous post about how this process works. Even at storied stadiums like the old Yankee Stadium very few seats in the big picture are salvaged to be sold. All you need to do is go to the Padre’s Twitter feed, Reddit sub, or Facebook page to see there’s plenty of interest in seats.
