At the time of my move, I gave away a lot of stuff for free.

Now I want sell some clothes and accessories at a fair price. And I have a lot of them.

I am not new to Offerup, Craigslist or Nextdoor, but it doesn't move the needle much. CL is almost spam. ebay costs not worth it. I am not that big to sell at Amazon/Etsy. Any other portal that I should try or be aware of?

Also, what would be recommended spots where it is secure to meet strangers as I sell them? Where are typical CCTVs where I can do the transaction safely?

Thanks!

Flashbacks 3849 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92103

Buffalo Exchange used to be across the street. I think there are 3 others on 5th Ave nearby.
They are all pretty particular about what they buy and do not pay much but give it a shot.

What about a yard sale?

What sort of price range are we talking about? Sounds like you want to sell multiple items in multiple transactions, which is what things like OfferUp are perfectly suited for. That's what I use if it's stuff under $50 that otherwise I'd just give away or toss. It's actually amazing how many things bound for the trash ended up generating a ton of interest. Agree about CL. I don't even bother anymore. Ebay is still ok for bigger dollar items, but I'd much rather go local and avoid all the hassle, plus the fees as you said.

The trick with OfferUp/etc is to be good at spotting flakes. As for the venue, I just do it from home. Never had a problem/have contingencies in place.

Will check it out. Thanks.

My price range is $10 to $100 max. Most of the articles are under $30.

I am looking for safe meeting points in case I go with individual buyers. In the past, I have asked folks to show up near Walmart parking lots or near police stations or hotel entrance.

Check out Poshmark and Mercari. Also, join NextDoor.com, and post them on there.

Good luck with selling, because people don't want to pay your prices, they want it for literally nothing. I have things to sell, but haven't taken any pictures, and don't know where I'm going list them, but will probably sell them off really cheap, just to get rid of them.
