Hi
My family are thinking of emigrating to America, we have a son of 17 and a daughter of 15. We have a vacation home in Florida and we really love to be by the water. Can anyone give us any advice of where would be a good place to live with teens.
Any advice would be welcome
Thanks
Claire

Find a map from the 2004 & 2008 Presidential elections. Select a blue state and avoid the red states. Doing that you'll be 3/4ths of the way there.

You really have to give us more to go on.

Is it really all about what your kids want? Or are you trying to talk up living in the US to kids who don't really want to move?

Describe what you like and dislike in a living situation. Suburban? Urban? Rural-ish?

What is your budget?
Is commuting to work and issue?
When you are talking about what teens would like, are you asking about school issues, or is it more about having places teens can get to easily without a lot of driving?

There are probably a lot of other questions which should be asked too. Perhaps someone else will think of them.

hey, we moved over to Orlando 6years ago from Manchester UK, its one of the best choices we made. We have 2 kids, 20yrs and 13yrs. Both have grown up alot better out here. My wife owns a business out here (a restaurant) that we bought to get us the E2 and I am now doing real estate. I have helped alot of people move out here with visas, homes, location, businesses, cars etc. If you need any help or have any questions let me know. Its alot easier to move out here with somebody helping you that has had success.

Since you're posting on the San Diego forum and money isn't mentioned....
Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff-By-the-Sea, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Leucadia.
You'd be happy in any of the above.
