Any opinions on moving from Houston to SD?
I plan on working in the SD Police Dept.
Might have a roommate. Don't know if it matters, single guy, mid 20's

What sort of opinions or suggestions are you looking for? Most young single guys love San Diego. It's a very different place from Houston.

Plan on...You may want to look further into the PD. They've gone through some cut backs. Have you taken the PD test, backgrounds etc...are you for sure in? You may want to look into other Police Departments around the County as well as the Sheriff. Border Patrol is also a good option.

Well no, I haven't taken the test, but what I mean is, if I do move, that's what I'll be in. And, what other Police Departments are there?
To Cruitr:
I am just looking for opinions, like yes you should, not you shouldn't etc. I'm getting bored of Houston.

Also, if I was to move, what areas should I move to? Any reliable apartments?

I would also say not to restrict your house search just to San Diego. There are great Beach houses in Baja and the border crossing is only a 15 min. drive.
