i am relocating within 3 weeks and will be working in UTC area. have decided to live in that area too to ease the transition. doyle and curie elementary seem like good schools from my research but I can't find much info on before/after care? i've visited the SDUSD website and found an application but that only makes me wonder if there are limited spaces. anyone have info regarding this? vital as i am single parent. thank you!

It's called PrimeTime, and most schools have a waiting list. You need to call the school(s), and ask for the phone number for PrimeTime, then talk to them. Also, when you call ask if they know if it's full. I used to work for SDUSD as a secretary, and that's what was done. The inner city schools tend to fill up faster, though. School hasn't started yet, but the office staff has returned, so calling before the kids go back would be better.
