I posted a status on FB about how awesome this weather is, followed by pics we took at the beach and I got blasted by everyone from the East Coast! Funny thing is, they all had statuses regarding the blizzard and tons of snow pictures that all look the same, but that's ok because it's them and winter is supposed to be cold and snowy! Yes, it's warm here. Yes, we went to the beach today, and no, it's not normal to be this warm at this time of year. Hmm, I guess if you live in San Diego, enjoy the beautiful weather we've been having for the last couple of days...just don't mention it people on the East coast!

Snow this time a year and temps in the upper 80's-mid 100's in July(Countywide) won't hurt in my opinion.

Oh, I agree, we need rain. But, it's around 80 in late December so I'm enjoying while it lasts, because it won't for long. I'm just not allowed to say I'm not enjoying it or post pictures of the sunny beach because only snow pictures are acceptable this time of year apparently.

Hey MAK802 - - I would love to see your facebook photo's. I am in Minnesota, but my heart will always be in southern California where I grew up and lived until I married and moved back to his home state of Minnesota. I read the citi-data websites so see and hear of life out there. So if you wouldn't mind sharing your facebook name, I would love to be one of your friends and enjoying your photo's. You can send me a private message.

Thanks - and don't worry about the negative comments. Some people back here just love the snow. A friend of mine in WI posted pictures of the snow they had and he is a snowmoblile fan, so of course he loves it. I'll take the more tropical weather any day and really miss it so much.

No one wants to hear my dad talk about how much he's enjoying his retirement either.

Haha, I guess some people are never happy in their own lives! I'm more than 30 years away from retirement age!

It is like I've said many times before...

If you don't like the weather where you live then move. Don't complain to me when I say how nice it is here and you can only cry about all the rain, tornadoes, hurricanes, snow, etc. The cost of living here is high enough I've earned the right to brag.

TomSD: how right you are. I agree. And besides, I enjoy hearing how nice it is even if I am not there. I can close my eyes and pretend for just a few moments. Or sit inside and look at beautiful photo's of sun and palm tree's or mountains or even traffic on the 405 and it makes me smile and forget about the now and cold here.
