My girlfriend just received a $448 ticket in the mail for that intersection at that 27th and northgate getting onto the freeway because i apparently did not stopping long enough at that red light before turning right. But my question is this:
if i was driving her car, can she fight that, by simply saying that it wasn't her who was driving? (she wasn't even in the car!)

Either way somebody is going to have to pay that ticket, that intersection is the biggest scam going. I almost want to contact Michael Finley for 7 on your side. I had the deadline extended as long as possible because I'm still trying to find a day to get to court to explain to the judge that ticket should not be $448 when some days people don't even stop and go through with no flash, and other days even if you stop but your bumper is in the cross walk the flash goes off. It's BS.

The video only stats for 60 days. If everyone asked for a hearing only a portion of thise would get a hearing in that time frame from what I read. People have to fight. Our freedom didn't come free it came at a cost. People call your legislators raise H and cities need to fight these rip off scams. Also vote out people who approve or lobby them. I don't know what happened to my other post but these photo lights are not constitutional they get part of the fine. How can they legally fine you anymore than you or I taking a picture of a diver at a rolling stop and fining them? Think about it.

DONT trust the red light camera! if you need to make a right turn on RED, DONT DO IT , much safer to wait until it turns GREEN, might take a little longer in traffic but it will be alot better than getting an unjust ticket, since sometimes the camera flashes even if you stop before making a right turn

I see lots of people wait until green to make a right turn to avoid the risk of getting a ticket

I once read there's a person who looks at the photo's and then decides if you get a ticket or not. Basically it's just another tax. There's no way tickets should be that much. Why allow right turn on red if everyone is scared to do it.

I lately arrived in California for new occupation and jazz conventional a pic red lightweight immorality. It occurred in San Mateo on the day after my traveler from a province that does not know this part method of interchange enforcement. I was in an unfamiliar transaction car, in an unacquainted metropolis, etc. I bang a fair dynamic record and when I received the mention from the cortege, needless to say, I was ill-prepared for the tight total. I am disagreeable to presently convalesce from various months of unemployment. I was hoping that I would be competent to help traffic assembly directly. Can anyone supply advice or suggestions on how to hold? More thanks.

I found a red light ticket in Calif cost about 500 if you add driving school.A lawyer but get a good one cost 500 and you don't have to show up in court. Even if it cost a more it's worth it because they make these lights on assumption you will just pay it. If everyone fought them it would backfire. Also need to contact senators mayors legistlators in droves via email and speak your outrage. What will it be like for the grand kids at this pace and when they ask why you let this happen? Now they want them on FWYs maybe elimate police jobs. Some say they like photos better cuz cops lie. The company profits in tickets so they can lie to. I seen a car flashed on a red light turn right and it stopped for a long while first.Who knows if they can splice out the stop part or only show the moving part.

Note anyone going through Scaramento the epitome of a police state it is a sped trap. Nit only cameras everywhere but police hiding everywhere. They may look to be sitting in front if a resurgent but probably not. They sit on FWY entrances and exits. I remember driving through going towards Reno and every mile or less along the way threw Sac there was a cop car on the side ticketing someone. Perhaps we should get camera radars amd click them because you can be going the speed limit amd they are passing you probably laughing all the way.

Don't speed, don't run lights, you won't get a ticket.
pretty simple, actually.
