I'm going to be a pediatrician in the Valley, and I had some questions...
-What's the best Japanese restaurant in the Danville area? Italian restaurant? Is there a Chipotle or Jamba Juice in the area?
-For schools, which is better, Monte Vista or San Ramon Valley? Or what about Cal High or Dougherty? I'll consider Dougherty if they have better sports teams when I move into the area, but for now, I'll pass over.

lol there is Chipotle or Jamba Juice here. All 4 schools are good. Right now MV and SRV have strong sports teams. Cal pops in and out a bit depending on the year. Dougherty is too new but is improving on their sports teams

its hard to say what the best italian restaurant is since there are many fancy, fantastic italian restaurants in danville.

there are at least a few chipotle/jamba juices in the area. youll find one easily in the area.

ive only been to cal high, and it was ok. but now it is better. they rebuilt practically the whole school - all new library, buildings, lockers, bathrooms, its very nice. better than dougherty and i will tell you why: doughtery is very new. i think its only 2-3 years old. doesnt have as many courses as cal high. cal high has been around for at least 20-30 years and has more programs, classes, better sports teams, etc. friday night football at calhigh is THE THING to do in san ramon, everyone goes. its fun.

I would say San Ramon.

Pacifica is a lot more cold and does get pretty foggy. its also a bit pricey, considering the location so close to the water, it is beautiful though

san ramon weather is GLORIOUS. the summers for the past five years have been later or later - indian summers, so to speak. it starts getting hot early august and cools off in november. the winters have been a little cooler too, within the past 5 years. very desirable area and weather. schools in san ramon are of very high quality. very family oriented, everyone loves dogs and the local high school sports teams. very safe area.

dont put your kids in dougherty, its only about 2-3 years old and has less classes/programs/etc than cal high. cal high has been around about 30 years plus its been redone, so everything is all new and clean, its very nice.

Chipotle is on Crow Canyon Road. Monte Vista is better. IMO
