Wow I never knew it was that low considering CA, overall, is one of the highest UE states in the nation.

Well except a few parts of SoCal--Orange County, maybe parts of San Diego--most of the rest of the state is still in the gutter. The interior of the state and most of LA are struggling, as is Sacramento. Unemployment in some interior cities/towns is still 15% or so; when you add up the population of all those areas, it's a significant part of the state's population

It's all about the average level of education. Places with more educated workforces have done and continue to do better economically.

Sure makes sense I grew up in OC and lived in Nor Cal for 3 years. It's encouraging UE is that low in SF.
