SF is ranked higher than LA?? (Must be due to the high Mexican population which seems to be less "Beverly Hills" than Joe from Omaha.)

Honestly I think if you head to the financial district this is where you'll find the stylishly dressed folks.

Anywhere else, you're stretching it a bit. It's anything goes and usually it's not working. And I'm included in this! lol. As I get older comfort over giving a damn wins every time.

I find most people in SF dress like they are in a banana republic ad. That scruffy but expensive look is in style. Probably why it's ranked up there. They dress like that in NY too.

Society types dress better than they do(we've got tons of those kinds of folks)-the few galas and events Ive forced myself to go have revealed to me that there are a bunch of swells in SF who really dress to the nines. Also, ever been on Fillmore Street in Pacific Heights? That busy retail street has some pretty well dressed people. I also think the Marina has trendmongers galore. LOL

Default SF is stylish...

What I think is interesting is that SF probably has more of the NYC stores than LA (Barney's, etc.)...

In terms of fashionable cities, it depends on what demographic you are speaking about. I think young Black folks in San Francisco dress really bamma-ish in comparison to young Black people in D.C. or NYC. In D.C. and NYC, even Black kids in the ghetto wear authentic expensive Polo, Prada and Gucci. Most Black, Latino and Asian kids in San Francisco wear the same outdated excessively baggy ghetto uniform that most East Coasters abandoned ten years. On the East Coast, style is much more proper fitting, classic and conservative even in casual apparel nowadays. However, fashion is very diverse in San Francisco. Everyone's style is individual and a little bit different from the next man much like New York. The dress code on the East Coast can be a little bit too uniform no matter where you are (i.e. all the DC big money makers wear Brooks Brothers suits, all the ghetto Black kids in Baltimore wear Polo, Hollister, American Eagle and New Balance 992's). People in San Francisco also know how to dress in layers for the wacky weather that changes by the hour.

I guess this proves that the San Francisco haters who always put down the people in S.F. as unstylish are WRONG, again!
