Well, SF Democrats are hardly a unified group. The "progressive" and "moderate" factions are constantly at each other's throats. I've been called an entitled Tea Party fascist by the former for objecting to the fact that the Castro is rapidly turning into a homeless encampment.

Strange days when gay guys in the Castro are said to be entitled Tea Party fascists. An interesting tale to divulge at the family holiday dinner out in the Midwest or South.

Yeah, one of those that would declare himself more "pure" and hardcore than the rest.

Sf is democrat, sure. But as noam chompsky points out, democrats are nothing more than moderate pro business republicans of yesteryear.

People claim to be liberal for scenester cred, but it is all for show. Its pro drugs, pro sex in a public park. More libertarian hedonism than anything else.

Sf is a racially and economically segregated city, that gives massive tax breaks to tech companies. It is a city ruled by a wealthy land owning class, who manipulates the housing stock.

There is nothing progressive or liberal about that. But ya put on those skinny jeans, drink some green tea, smoke grass, if that's what makes you think you are a liberal. Lolololol
