What are you're 3 favorite cities? And just for fun, what are youre 3 least favorite cities on the Peninsula? (For the purposes of this thread the peninsula will be defined as the 650 area code. And please no unincorporated areas, municipalities only.)
My 3 favs:
San Mateo-best dwnt, most urban and walkable. 3 caltrain stations, Great food, nice density, good mix of cultural diversity, has a college.
Redwood City- lots of concerts and cultural activity dwtn these days, land of tacos, great weather, has a port with a newly built passenger ferry terminal, awesome cross on the hill.
Palo Alto- This city packs a punch for its size, famous and well known, rich tech center and historic heart of silicon valley, owns huge swath of the santa cruz mts, nice dwnt.
Honorable mentions go to Woodside and Mountain View.

Least favorites
San Bruno: Crappy dwtn filled with gang types, lots of vacancies, crappy weather constantly, Gets all the noise pollution from SFO airplanes roaring by and all the actual air pollution from SSF.
East Palo Alto-small crappy ghetto and dangerous city with large amounts of industrial pollution. Mini Oakland. Has nothing to do with Palo Alto.
Daly City- Its like living in San Francisco except not. Its like all the negative stuff(crappy foggy weather, asians(lol its a joke) and cramped box cutter houses of the city with none of the good stuff(like good public rail transit, public benefits for city residents and the added fact of being able to brag to others that you are an actual San Francisco citizen).
Dishonrable mentions go to Pacifica and Brisbane

Best: Palo Alto (nice downtown and residential areas), San Mateo (nice downtown), Burlingame (nice residential areas)
Worst: Daly City (feels like the air conditioning was always left on), San Bruno ("iffy" characters walking around, doesn't feel safe), Colma (obvious reasons)

I think Colma is pretty cool. Its a Necropolis, Its a grave yard city. How many cities can say that? Its unique, it has character, it has great architecture(tombstones). Im even thinking about moving there for a long long time at some point myself

It's great to be alive in Colma

BTW - Very interesting history about how Colma came to have all the cemeteries. They spent years digging everyone up and moving them out of San Francisco to be relocated by rail to Colma. Because at one time, there were many cemeteries in San Francisco but the city wanted to redevelop it but couldn't with all the cemeteries there.
