not being able to acknowledge their shortcoming was key signature of ultra leftists and sfgate.com and other papers were quik to hide. Gladly sometime took a central position and acknowledged there is a leftist hate. Yes sfgate publishes it! First in six years of watching sfgate.com that they put some meaningful article.

Those same people in the south joined the Republican Party so that doesn't really validate your point

So if some people in some very large diverse group, like a political party, do something bad decades ago, then that group is forever bad, and whatever they've done in the intervening years is meaningless. Uhh, right.

Actions matter, not bogus accusations based on events from lifetimes ago.

Please list all the politicians that were changing parties in the 50's 60's and 70's in the south. It was the democrats that had a former klansman in the senate until 2009.

So now your saying all the good things republicans ever did was because they were rally democrats and every bad thing democrats ever did was because hey we're really republicans. And all the good things democrats did in the last were really because they are democrats.

You are trying to ignore your parties history as they voted against civil liberties. As they blocked the passage of the civil rights act. As the passed Jim Crow laws. Just say you don't support the actions of those before you.

I'll wait for all the democrats that became republicans list.

You are basically arguing that political positions never change, just the party does. Maybe it is because political positions have change and the parties haven't. Especially as democrats keep acting like minorities have no ability to take care of themselves.
