It's like a free Disneyland attraction.

Star shows at the Planetarium. Free concerts in Stern Grove. Kite-flying, frisbee-tossing, strolling the beach anytime. Watching the hang-gliders at Fort Funston. Fishing at the beach below Marin Headlands. Picnics on Angel Island. Music and culture festivals on Treasure Island. Hiking in Mount Sutro forest. Exploring the Embarcadero and Ferry Building. Exploring the Russky and Georgian bakeries in the Richmond. (I love bakeries!) Exploring the funky shops on Fillmore, or the not-so-funky shops on Union Street.

This is the cool thing about SF; there's not only tons of stuff to do, there's tons of stuff to do for free, or nearly free.
Pretty nice lineup at Stern Grove this year:

Also, please remember to wash your car after Fort Point! The salt water will kill it.

In years past, I have found Stern Grove to be more (older) mainstream i.e. Doobie Brothers, Boz Skaggs, etc. than some of the other, more ‘artistically unique’ festivals - such as Oysterfest (is where I originally saw Thievery Corp) and Noise Pop. That said, Psychedelic Furs will be fun this year.

Likea, I noticed you state your location as ‘America’s expensive toilet’ - lol, so I’m going to go out on a limb and assume you don’t like living here?

Digable Planets is on the line up for Stern Grove? That's a balst from the past for me for sure.

Yeah - speaks to my point about Stern Grove (though the lineup is actually a bit more eclectic than it has been in some years past).

That one, Galactic and Digable Planets stood out to me.

I am ambivalent about living here. I will say my opinion of the area has worsened the longer I've been here (probably due to more crowding, homeless, overall COL increases). I'm a bred east coaster so I get impatient with the head in the clouds west coasters here.

It has its pros and cons, which I've mentioned plenty of times before.

I don't think my description of location is false. San Francisco literally is a toilet for part of the population.

.
I correctly assumed by ‘America’s expensive toilet’ you didn’t like it much - haha. I’m not familiar with any past posts in which you’ve expressed what you do consider ‘pros’, mind reiterating a few (for the purpose of this thread)? It would be great to get a positive discussion going!

You have comprehension problems. I'm not going to entertain you anymore, troll. Seriously, stop picking fights with people.
