I mean the man hangs out with noted dicators like Hugo Chavez and Fidel. They are the same kind of evil as Bush, yet Sean still likes them. I'm heard from people who have met him around town that say he is a snobbiy concited and selfish person. He is an embarrisment to our city.

From what i've seen if him, the guy is an incredible actor. he also took time to give kerry 04 las vegas volunteers a pep talk before we went canvassing neighborhoods for votes. i have nothing but admiration for him.

Does Sean Penn live in San Francisco or Los Angeles [maybe both]? Many of us admire Penn for his acting ability & his political activism. No hate for Penn but if you want to hate why not start with Bush

Yes, I think he's a doosh. It has nothing to do with whatever his political agendas are, but the fact that he cruises around the country in a fancy, full-featured tour bus giving lectures on environmental issues.

A few months ago his entourage on luxury wheels stopped in my small town in New Mexico to "camp" overnight before they moved on to a bigger market. This event made headlines in the local newspaper because a "celebrity with a cause" was in the vicinity and I felt like vomiting.

Also, he always looks like he's suffering from bowel discomfort, like Emilio Estevez.

I don't know -- I find people that are "holier than thou" and can't spell more embarrassing than someone who is trying to make an actual difference in the world, even if I don't agree with him.

I have met him on numerous occasions, he has always been pleasant. That's not to say I agree with his politics, or the use of celebrity to promote them.
