Hey I am looking to live in a nice friendly neighbourhood. I like living around parks and I am trained in Tourism and Elderly care. Sunnyvale, Los Altos ,Cupertino and Santa Clara..whats a good pick?

Those 5 cities you picked are all good places. Also South San Jose and West San Jose are good places. Willow Glen is a neighborhood of San Jose but has it's own little downtown.

However, East San Jose is not that really good.

As for which cities, I'll pick Los Altos.

Depends on budget. Los Altos and Cupertino plan on $700K as a starting point for a single family house. Actually Los Altos is probably more around a million for a single fam home.

If you're in elderly care, you should have a huge clientele in The Villages over in the southeastern part of Evergreen. It's a massive 55+ housing development. Technically it is East San Jose but it's far and away the nicest part of it.

The Villages is good as stated but so is Sunnyvale as they have high proportion of retired people and the Sunnyvale Senior Center is an active community. The Villages seems to revolve around golf so it depends on what you like.

The area around The Villages and Silver Creek Valley Country Club is very nice but the shopping options in Evergreen aren't good. There's not many shops and Eastridge Mall has a lot of gang members that hang around there. You'll have to drive to many stores. I would only choose The Villages and Silver Creek Valley area if your choosing East San Jose. By the way, do you have any children?

Willow Glen in San Jose has a cute downtown, a sense of community and a strong business association that puts on events along the "avenue".
It's also home to "the atrium" on Meridian ave - which is a senior care facility.

Default Mountain View

I like the Mountain View area- it has a nice downtown on Castro with quaint bookstores, cafes, and excellent restaurants. Plus its central to most of Silicon Valley.
