You are absolutely right! I got my BS at 30.. but could not get the right job correlate with the degree. I went back grad school at 45.. and I have been enjoying my career in Healthcare. I really did enjoy the time while in grad school.

actually they make more than that. The median wage in 2016 for Dental Hygienists in California was $98,010

well if you look at your reference, you should read it- that's overall nationally

Look at this instead
Summary Occupational Guide
This averages those in Ca, not nationwide and being that this discussion is in Ca and one of the higher paying regions of Ca, it would make more sense.

Seems a little high, that's higher than the median tech workers salary.
