Get good Comcast technician come over and also try router upgrade. Might be an issue with old cables, connectors or outside hub box, Comcast service should be good and not require any router resets.

they are monopolies. That means they are able to do what they want an wheneever they want including price gouging. Just like standard oil. The only solution good for customers are split them up.

We did eventually replace our router. Service got slightly better, and requires far less frequent resets, but it is still not nearly as good as other places I've lived.

I get a lot of advertisements for AT&T U-Verse at my house, so it's clearly an option, but online reviews for them are awful.

wait for E-Musk's 4000 satellites which i heard getting approved by government. I can imagine all cable companies going bust if it materializes.

Are there any areas to avoid for Internet service (i.e. That are notorious)? My main question is for areas around Cupertino. E.g. Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, WSJ, Cambrian)

Sonic.net is a viable alternative to comcast if they have the infrastructure around you.
