Does anyone know what the commute is like from Fremont (Centerville area) to Campbell in the morning? google maps says 30 minutes and 45 minutes in traffic. Does anyone have experience with this commute during traffic hours? Thank you!

I haven't done that exact route, but I have driven those roads during rush hour. I think 30 minutes is not realistic. I'd say to expect closer to an hour because of 880. The route that google gives me is I-880 South to CA 17 South. If you live in the area now, you'll know that I-880 can be a nightmare in the morning. The traffic on 17 South isn't as bad as 17 North but will still be slow.

My wife has that same basic commute. She commutes from Newark to the Cambrian area of San Jose (right next to Campbell) and it typically takes her about 45 minutes to get to work. The worst part of the commute is 880 through the Fremont/Milpitas area. It's not the best commute, but there are far worse commutes to have in the Bay Area...I have an easy 6-mile commute from Newark to the Warm Springs area of Fremont, so I'm spoiled!
