No. Castro's is strictly traditional northern NM food. You might be thinking of the popular Tune Up Cafe on Hickox or the slightly less popular Red Enchilada. Tune Up was featured on Triple D for papusas, lamb tacos, and chile rellenos. The rellenos are good but have roasted red tomato salsa on top, not chile. They offer many other NM dishes too but often with a twist, for example banana leaf tamales or mole enchiladas.

I can recommend a couple food trucks in Sante Fe.. Mexican food and rolled ice cream. These were the best places we ate at while we were there S of Sante Fe - right on the corner. 3300 Calle Maria Luisa, Santa Fe, NM 87507, United States

We just had lunch at Soup Star at 1372 Vegas Verdes Dr. Really good soup (not your usual selections), and the menu changes daily - they update the website with the day's selections. I had the Hungarian Mushroom and it was excellent. They have a selection of vegetarian and vegan options too. It is not all soup - also sandwiches and salads, etc. It is a tiny place, maybe 8 tables.
