Boy did I love fishing and romping with the dogs at the dam. The lake looks fantastic. One year when I was there it was pathetically low. The next year, you could hardly see the treed island out in the distance. It looks like there was a lot of rain this year.
On the other hand, I don't think they will EVER re-open the beautiful Morphy Lake. I kept waiting and waiting and finally gave up. There was too much work to be done, but in my opinion there's no political will. It's too remote and there are too many issues of drugs and crime in the area. Just my opinion.
