I'm interested in knowing a bit more about Storrie Lake. I saw very few real estate listings. Do they have very few homes there? Is the lake threatened in any way? Can you swim in it? Anything else I should know? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Storrie Lake is "Storrie Lake State Park" in Las Vegas, NM: Storrie Lake State Park (http://www.newmexico.org/explore/state_parks/storrie_lake.php - broken link) I do not think there are private homes in the State Park.

Not true there is a section close to the lake that can't be privatley purchased. I don't know the prices these days but shouldn't be much.
