I'm supposing the San Miguel Mission would be the best choice?

and right down the street is the Loretto Chapel miraculous staircase - Santa Fe, New Mexico

It's tough to pick one. I usually take people to Bandelier or El Rancho de las Golondrinas if there is a festival. The plaza area has a lot of fun places to explore including the mission and the Loretto Chapel.

Yeah, my wife probably loves to shop more than taking in history (go figure. ), so the plaza and Loretto sounds like a nice compromise.

Ahh, marriage....an ongoing series of compromises. (Which brings to mind...why is it, the husband thinks he's compromised, but in reality, it's simply the way of thinking the wife has engineered/steered him towards? )

Hi I just got back from a little trip to Santa Fe. For anyone reading this thread I just wanted to "plug" the B&B that we stayed at. Casa Cuma. The owners Shaan & Colleen were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly informative and helpful. Colleen made a fantastic breakfast burrito w/ green Chili as well as homemade sweet goodies. The rooms were all beautifully decorated. I was there in a family group. We were all talking about how awesome the sheets were the next morning. I could go on but obviously we had a wonderful time.It was not in the plaza but it was within walking distance. The address is 105 Paseo de la Cuma. The ph# (505) 216 7516.Enjoy!
