How about it? Any news on the Costco they were suppose to build??
I love that store and was happy to hear, that they will get one....but....has construction started at all?

i haven't heard any more but I was pretty happy about that too. i miss costco and BJs (no, i am NOT driving 30 min to the BJs on University Pkwy! bummer)

It's suppose to open at Westfield Sarasota Square Mall in 2012 inside the old Dillard's(?). The entrance to it will be inside the mall but there will be a separate exit. That's all I know so far! Can't wait since it is so close to us and I'm not a big fan of Sam's Club.

Me three, I am not a Sam's fan at all (even thoughI broke down and got a card because they ahve the cheapest tires I have found). If you can get to a Costcos, they had a great Tommy Bahama beach cart that is the best I ahve found so far. I got mine in Miami, but I bet you could find it online. It has a place for a cooler, chairs, and a removable small basket that turns into a beach bag. Had to share this cause I had been looking for a good one for a while.

I feel a little guilty about this, but at first glance, I thought this post was about a Costco Whorehouse , which is assuredly a business I do not wish to patronize, for reasons too numerous to chronicle here.

There was an article I read somewhere about the new big stores opening soon around Palmer Ranch...Kohl's, Home Depot and Costco. But there weren't specific dates. I hope it's soon! I drove by the future Kohl's location and the opening for that is this fall.
