Hello,

Anyone have any recommendations for good beaches/vacation spot on Gulf side in ?

There are 4 of us including 2 young kids. We're looking for some good beaches and family appropriate resorts/activities in a decent area.

thanks

Sandcastles on Bradenton Beach is nice. Bradenton Beach, FL United States - Sandcastle Beach Resort #3 | Anna Maria Gulf Coast Rentals (http://bookings.amgcrentals.com/Unit.mvc/Details/56055 - broken link) is one of the units there. If the cost is too high, just a block north is Gulf View. Both offer pools, though Sandcastles pool is shaded, heated, and quite clean. It is hard to beat the price of Gulf View though with that nice view. The location is perfect for a family because there are restaurants, mini golf, ice cream, and shops all less than a block away. There is also a free trolley to get to and from the grocery store (or just ride for fun). Dolphins can often be seen around sunset.

Siesta Key No 1 beach in America, check out Gumbo Limbo check out the reviews on Trip Advisor. I stayed there when my little one was just six months, it's very accommodating for young families, and they have more sand toys and chairs and bikes than you would ever need and a beautiful pool. It's just across the street from the beach and a short walk to Siesta village. Incidentally Sarasota won NO 1 place for best spring break for families, check out the link for the reasons

Top 10s | Livability

If you want more Tampa is not far for Busch Gardens and Disney etc are only 2 hours away.

Have a great vacation!!!!
