What is the cost of parking at Englwood beach? There was no machine this summer but now there is a machine to pay to park. Is it manditory, do you get a ticket if you don't buy? What do you do with the ticket if you have a motorcycle? Is there free parking near the round about? I really like the beach near the round about but I don't want to have to pay every time I go. Thanks

You can get a sticker if you go often. They have 3 month($25) , 6 month($35) and 12month ($50) stickers.

I think it's 25 cents per hour, at least that is what it was the one time we paid. We now drive down to stump pass. I don't mind paying the quarter per hour but if I under estimate how long I'm staying I HATE going back to pay again.

I was just there a couple weeks ago. It's still 75 cents per hour and now they have assigned numbered parking spaces they've painted and your ticket must match that space. Hope this helps. True, every so often those meters go down and you wont have to pay. I don't mind paying though if that helps run and keep up a beach.

Seriously?? If there is a meter, of course the fee is mandatory. Have you ever heard of "voluntary pay-to-park"??? No. It's cheap. Small price to pay for our beautiful beaches.
On a motorcycle, find a place to clip it. Common sense...
