I'm planning my wedding on Siesta Key and someone told me about quieter beaches on the key called Lover's Cove or Ringling Beach. The thing is, I can't find them. Has anyone heard of these? or other parts of Siesta that would be ideal for a quiet small ceremony?
Also, where should I look to find out if I need a permit to perform a short ceremony?
Also, what hotels (for a group of about 20) and restaurant would you recommend?
Basically you're helping me plan my wedding :^)
Thanks!

There is a Ringling Beach House on Siesta Key, with villas for rent. Perhaps someone meant it?

The Lover's Cove has me stumped. I know of condo communities named Sandy Cove, Midnight Cove, Siesta Cove, Fisherman's Cove and Sunrise Cove to name a few, but not a Lover's Cove on Siesta Key.

None of the beaches on Siesta will be secluded at any time of day. Being that it is a public beach, you'll have plenty of onlookers.

I would take a look at the South Lido Park.

Your best bet for the least crowds would be mid week in September or late August.

Keep in mind that sunset always brings a lot of people to the beach.

Have you contacted a wedding planner? That is your best bet for inside tips to a beach wedding here.

My sister got married at Island House (resort) on Siesta. That is where everyone stayed also. They handled everything beautifully and the wedding was lovely.

Blue Heron gave a good idea with South Lido. A few others that might work are Anna Maria Island or Boca Grande Beach. AMI actually has a wedding festival in May: 5th Annual Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival - Wedding Capital of Florida

If you're looking for Lovers Key, it's located around Fort Myers Beach: Welcome to Florida State Parks

Congrats and good luck!
