Spanish Tutor (lessons or classes) (Sarasota, Bradenton: house, schools, restaurants)

Can anyone recommend a Spanish tutor in the Sarasota area? Looking to do lessons 2-3 times per week. Thanks in advance.

Surprised it's not more common to get lessons here. I just want to do it to improve myself and my future. All I really found were ad's on CL.

for what it is worth, I am accustomed to hearing the Mexican or Guatemalan accents and even though I don't speak Spanish, I could hear the difference in the Cuban accents.

The 2010 census puts the population of Sarasota county at approximately 380,000. Of that, only 30,000 are hispanic.

Sunshine Tutoring Service is in Sarasota and they come to your house and teach Spanish, 941-488-6792.

Not sure if they still offer it but Bradenton Red Cross used to offer Spanish lessons: Spanish class opening new doors | HeraldTribune.com

I would also try a few of the schools, specifically Pine View School, they often have a list of teachers for the kids but they will teach kids or adults.

And lastly, I know it sounds hokey, but all three of my girls learned Spanish by using Rosetta Stone Spanish.

Thanks so much, that's what I was looking for. I just returned from Colombia for the 2nd time and plan on visiting South America a few times next year so it's a necessity for me. Plus, like I said, wanting to stay in FL it will only help me to know some Spanish.
