Venice beat Apopka 35-7 over in Fort Lauderdale today in dominating fashion.

Venice led the whole game.

Way to go Indians! Job well done.

correction, at one point in the game it was tied 7-7...but just briefly. Venice totally dominated Apopka on both sides of the ball.

I always see high school aged kids working part time at different places in Venice and they are just the nicest, well mannered kids I've come across in a long time. Smiles on their faces, no gloom and doom attitudes and just all around good kids.

Congratulations to the team and all the young people growing up in this beautiful place. The fact that so many of them are holding down part time jobs while going to school says a lot about their character and the work ethic their parents are instilling in them.

Every student I've met from Venice High School is happy, nice, well-mannered, smart, & loves their school. There's a ton of school pride there. Hats off to the students, parents, & faculty of that A+ school. I'm proud to live in their community.

^^^Hopefully they stay into adulthood and continue the traditions and values they exemplify so well, into the next generation Hubby and I are pretty much done with professional football - I think it's time to start supporting our local high school sports teams even though our kids are grown and flown. I'll bet it's a lot of fun!
