Maybe for Saturday morning, but latest forecasts are moving the system further south, which means less rain for us here. All of it is supposed to move out of our area by later Saturday morning and Sunday looks to be hot and sunny.

By the way, this weekend the state of FL is giving all residents and visitors to FL a free pass on saltwater fishing, i.e. you don't need a saltwater fishing license. The following weekend will be for freshwater fishing. All people fishing still have to go by the regulations regarding what you are allowed to catch, etc.

Just saw that Lakewood Ranch's Music on Main event scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to expected rain.

Also canceled, the Venice Farmers Market normally held each Saturday morning.
