In the survey of 1,250 residents, 25% of respondents ranked population growth and development as the most important issue facing Sarasota County – a 6% reduction compared to 2022.
The Sarasota County Citizen Opinion Survey reflected an overall positive perception of Sarasota County, with 98% of those surveyed rating their quality of life as good or excellent and 80% saying they trust county government.
