Go for a walk,
go to the beach (there are some great ones - siesta, Boca Grande, Venice, Englewood, Captiva, Sanibel and others),
swim,
go for a bike ride (there are free bikes to use for the day around town),
go fishing (on a boat, on the shore, in a canal, wade fishing),
fly a kite (at the beach or a park),
go to a park (there are thousands of them) (get a sub have a picnic),
visit Boca Grande for the day,
visit Matlache for the day (great little artsy town),
visit Anna Marie Island for the day,
visit St. Armands Circle (and leave your money home) :-))
go to Babcock Ranch and take a tour (its like the everglades),
go to one of the animal shelters where they have lions and other wild animals,
go to Selby Gardens,
go to Mote Marine,
rent a kayak,
photograph all the different plants and see if you can learn their names,
go for a ride and see if you can find an alligator or armidillo,
go golfing,
sit in the sun and read a book or a nook or a kindle
buy me a beer or two (oops that can get very expensive)
Have a Great Day!!
