I'll try not to repeat myself. Those are indeed beautiful photos.
One of the things that I had said was that I was interested in Shy Wolf's Montana, the red wolf (native to the southeast, but a very endangered species.) The Shy Wolf site mentions that St Vincent's Island, off the Gulf coast at the Panhandle, has a breeding pack there. I was able to visit, but of course saw no wolves--they are quite wild. But as I mentioned in the phantom post, I have met them before.
One of the things I've noticed about wolves and some wolf-hybrids is how *quiet* they are.
Unlike most domestic dogs, they simply don't make a whole lot of noise.
Hi BlueWillowPlate, I checked out the website and their facilities look awesome where you visited
You are quite correct too, they are quiet and really quite shy and timid they certainly don't confront you, there were only two we met which were wolf hybrids who were desperate to come to meet you for some affection, they were gorgeous and incredibly affectionate

Yeah, I wish I could have spent more time with you two as well. I've been real busy lately and didn't have much time when you came over to spend with you.

What kind of camera do you have? It does take very nice pics. it must have a pretty good telephoto lens on it to get such a great shot of the Osprey on the Boca Grande thread.

Yeah i know you were really busy but it was lovely to see you that night. We will just have to make it up next time
My camera is a Canon EOS I think they call it the Rebel XTI in the US. I bought an additional zoom lense with it which is awesome

Interesting, I have the exact same camera and I also have a really expensive zoom lens. I don't carry the zoom with me for day to day stuff cause it's too heavy. Maybe I'll bring it with me next time we get together and you can give me a few lessons. My pictures don't seem to come out as clear as yours.
